Mason

This kid totally cracks me up. Seriously. He is pretty quiet, but hillarious at the same time. He is so excited to start Kindergarten in the fall. He has been doing karate and baseball, and LOVES them both. He is not afraid to get out there and play hard and try something new, and he doesn't let other kids' attitudes bug him. He is just an easy kid. He is so proud of his karate belt. He recently earned his first stripe, he loves that he is getting 'closer' to his black belt :) I am looking forward to him moving on to ANYTHING but his white belt. Seriously, who puts a white belt on 5-year-old boys and expects it to stay clean?!!? I mean, the uniform is white too, but I bleach that regularly. Apparently you can't wash the belt though, or you lose all of your knowledge that you have gained in class (?). Really? So they white each other with them, use them as lassos, and hold them in their dirty little hands, and these white belts get filthy. I am SOOO tempted just to toss it in the wash 'on accident' and not tell him... nobody would know, right? :) Haha, anyway, I just love that kid, I wish I could keep him at 5-years-old forever (but he reminds me every day that he will be 6 in just 2 months, oh, time is going too fast)!
